Poonhill trek is one of the finest short teahouse treks in Annapurna region. It is one of the most popular and relatively easy treks that meander through the beautiful ethnic villages of the Annapurna Region. During our adventure we will follow one of the well-trodden routes through the lush forest: the Magar Village at Ulleri, Ghorepani, exploring the diverse ethnic groups of Ghandruk Village.

This Trek is a naturalists paradise. It offers spectacular panoramic views of some of the beautiful and highest mountains in Annapurna region. We will enoy the panoramic views of Dhaulagiri (8167m), the Annapurna I (8091m), the Machhapuchhre (6993m), the Manaslu (8157m) and other numerous mountains along the world's deepest Kali Gandaki gorge from Poon Hill.

This short yoga trek is suitable for every kind of trekker, from beginner to advanced, and for every level of yoga. It is a perfect program for friends, family and people who simply wish to explore easily one of the most beautiful place of Nepal, while gaining some inner peace and spiritual knowledge through Yoga.

  • Day 01: Adaptation time in the Ashram

  • Day 02: Adaptation time in the Ashram

  • Day 03: Adaptation time in the Ashram

  • Day 04: Drive to Pokhara by tourist deluxe bus, 6:30 hours, and stay overnight

  • Day 05: Drive to Nayapool (1:30 hour) and trek up to Ulleri, 5:30 hours, 2020m

  • Day 06: Trek from Ulleri to Ghorepani, 5 hours, 2860m

  • Day 07: Trek from Ghorepani to Tadapani via PoonHill, 6 hours, 2600m

  • Day 08: Trek from Tadapani to Landruk, 5:45 hours

  • Day 09: Trek from Landruk to Austrailian camp-Kande, 5 hours.  Drive back to Pokhara, stay overnight

  • Day 10: Drive back to Kathmandu


Yoga Program

This Yoga Trek offers the incredible opportunity to practice one of the most healing art of Asia: Yoga.

This wonderful Yoga Trek includes a daily class of Yoga, Pranayama (breathing exercice) and Meditation. Our experienced teacher will guide you through Hatha Yoga style to help you recover the most from the walking and let your energy flow in your body for a spiritual connection as well. We believe that a daily yoga practice can not only prevent but also heal many diseases, body and mind related. To be able to practice in a pure environment in the Himalayas is a great opportunity to reconnect yourself and grow spiritualy. 

Yoga asanas: asanas are postures designed to cleanse the body from toxins and to release any physical blockages that prevent our energy from flowing freely in the body. The more blockages we have the more tension we create. 

Pranayama: this concerns breathing techniques. The purpose of pranayama is to unblock emotional nodes. When we accumulate stress, anxiety, and others mental pain, we create emotional blockages inside the body, which means that our energy cannot flow freely, and the suffering increases in our lives. Pranayama helps to remove these blockages. 

Meditation: this is the ultimate practice of yoga. Through meditation, we enable the mind to come back to a state of peace, a state of silence. We create some space in the mind in order to be able to face life with more perspective, and less anxiety and anger. Meditation brings people back to themselves, to who they really are and this brings a fresh meaning to life, a peaceful one.
