Opening Hours

Sun - Sat: 7AM - 7PM

During the Yoga and Ayurveda Detox program you will benefit from holistic care with the techniques of Yoga and Ayurveda. Yoga and Ayurveda have the same origin and the same goal: improving the health of the body, the mind and the soul. Ayurveda applies the philosophy of yoga in a medical way.

This retreat is a complete resetting of your internal system through fasting and a cleansing to eliminate all the toxins accumulated. The Meditation and others spiritual practices will help to rest your mind as well for a holistic healing.

We will operate in 3 steps: the adaptation, the fasting and the cleansing.

ADAPTATION : For the first 3 days you will adapt to your new environment and yogic lifestyle.

The daily schedule, that includes yoga, asana, pranayama, meditation and philosophy, is made to pre detoxify your body and mind, in order to be ready for the fasting step.

FASTING : Starting from the 4th day, you will start the Ayurvedic Fasting Program.

Fasting is a wonderful way to get rid of deep rooted toxins from the body. As soon as we stop eating regular meals the body begins to eliminate these toxins and expel impurities through the digestive system allowing all of the internal organs of the body to rest and recover from past exhaustions. This is one of nature’s ways to heal the entire body. Three days of fasting is a perfect way to experience fasting and cleansing of the entire digestive system. From day one of the fast we will gradually reduce your intake of food each day, so that on the third day your body will be prepared with just drinking honey and lemon water as substitute for food. You will still be able to drink unlimited amounts of water with fresh lemon juice and natural herbal teas throughout the fasting. It is essential, though, that you gradually reduce your food intake within the period of 3 to 6 days. The gradual reduction consists of 3 days of apple fasting. Apples have natural eliminating and laxative properties which are good for the digestive system and aiding in flushing the toxins out of your body.

Fasting cleanses the mind as well as the body, therefore you will start to feel all kinds of emotions, some highs and some lows. Try not to listen or react to these emotions and keep yourself focused, calm and balanced. Practice pranayamas to keep your energy levels up and help manage the emotional effects.

CLEANSING : On day 7th you will practice the Yogic Cleaning under the guidance of our expert.

The name of the Yogic cleansing is Shankhaprakshalana. The word shankhaprakshalana comes from two words. Shankha meaning “conch” and prakshalana meaning to wash completely. The word shankha is used to represent the entire alimentary canal from mouth to anus. Shankhaprakshalana is the process to clean the intestinal tract by removing the impurities with salty water.  It creates a repair action which affects the lungs, nervous system, skin, sinus area, the whole body, continuing while the person follows the regime of special food and asana. Through this practise we see the reduction of many diseases and also a positive positive step in the direction of good health.
